Aug 2017: I recently attended the Ornithological Congress of the Americas in Puerto Iguazu, Argentina as a member of the AFO council. I presented a poster co-authored with Dr. Jeff Walters entitled "A habitat model to aid the conservation of Red-cockaded Woodpeckers in the swamps of North Carolina". The meeting was a huge success!
